The photographer
Tony has taken pictures from a young age, with the Royal Navy, in Germany, Holland and America and latterly when a teacher of science, computing, photography and filmmaking. His recent travels include trips to New Mexico; Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming; France; Spain; and the waterways of England. His latest venture was a journey through the High Sierras, California, with Quentin Ball as leader.
Tony is a founder member of the Queens Park Group of photographers, and for a number of years he ran the Dissenters' Gallery, Kensal Green. Tony has exhibited extensively, and major prizes include winning the RHS Plant Photographer of the Year award in 2009, and a prize in the Plant category, International Garden Photographer of the Year competition, 2013. He has exhibited Kew Gardens photographs at the festival 'Les Recontres d'Arles'.

All images are for sale at very reasonable prices, e.g. a 10" x 8" print would cost £80 ($140) including postage. Prints use archival inks on archival paper, and are of exhibition resolution and quality. Exhibitions and awards
International Garden Photographer of the Year, 2nd Prize in The Beauty of Plants category. During 2013 the image was exhibited at Bankside Gallery, London; Benmore Botanic Garden. Scotland; National Garden of Wales, Carmarthenshire; Palace of Monserrate, Portugal; New York Botanical Garden; Schloss Dennenlohe, Germany; and others.
