About...

the photographer

I have taken pictures throughout a career that includes the Royal Navy, engineering in Germany, Holland and America and latterly teaching science, computing, photography and filmmaking. My recent travels include a group trip to Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming led by Quentin Ball; France; Spain; and the waterways of England in my canal boat. My latest venture was a journey through New Mexico, again with Quentin as leader.
I am a founder member of the Queens Park Group of photographers, affiliated to London Independent Photography. For a number of years I ran the Dissenters' Gallery, Kensal Green. I've exhibited extensively, and major prizes include winning the RHS Plant Photographer of the Year award in 2009.

All images are for sale at very reasonable prices, e.g. a 10" x 8" print would cost £25 ($30) including postage. Prints use archival inks on archival paper, and are of exhibition resolution and quality. To purchase please email me in the first instance via the make contact page adding details of the images you are interested in, the approximate size required, and any other requirements. I will then send you a quote by return
